5× factory throughput at a global clear-aligner manufacturer

The problem
Eon Dental, a global clear-aligner manufacturer, needed far higher throughput, better traceability, and less manual data entry across every production stage. Shift reports, QC records, and batch logs were being processed by hand.
What I built
- End-to-end industrial automation across production tracking, quality control, and operational reporting. I was on the MES team and led the plant automation project.
- An OCR reporting pipeline that removed manual data entry from shift, QC, and batch-traceability logs.
- Machine-level integration with shop-floor equipment. Software talking directly to the production line over TCP.
- A 3D Treatment Setup Viewer (Three.js + React) that lets medical professionals preview treatment setups before approval. Shipped as a reusable package.
- Per-station production interfaces, traceability backends, and a workflow job-dispatcher coordinating the stages.

The outcome
5× productivity growth. Daily output went from about 2,000 to 10,000 aligners, with better visibility and traceability, in a real production environment serving international markets.
